Water has a meniscus. It will spill, but when? We too have predesigned limits to keep our emotions in check. I use the metaphor of surface tension to illustrate the eruption that could take place when breaking points are reached. Disabled people are often pushed to their limits but this metaphor could be applied to anyone’s suppressed emotions.
